Metal type drive side oil seal from Corteco of Italy with blue rubber, seriously good quality from one of the companies that supplied original equipment to Piaggio, this metal type seal with blue rubber is 31mm x 62mm x 5.8-4.3mm One question we are asked is should i use a rubber or metal type oil seal, some people favor one type over the other, but the best answer we can give is that is depends on your casings, casing made for a metal seal are smooth where the oil seal fits, and earlier casings designed for a rubber oils seal have a very small groove where the oil seal fits.
